Celebrate Small Business Saturday by shopping in our boutiques and quaint stores for that special holiday gift. Enjoy FREE parking at all city owned garages*.
Small Business Saturday is one of the biggest days of sales for retailers in Alexandria. Over 50 businesses across Old Town and Del Ray participate in this retail promotion and set out merchandise displays, signage and offer specials. Annually, this promotion garners significant press and tax revenue for the City.
*Free Parking
The City of Alexandria will provide free parking at four garages in Old Town (locations listed below) on both Plaid Friday and Small Business Saturday. Street parking is always free in Del Ray.

- Market Square – 106 N. Fairfax Street
- Garage at 220 N. Union Street
- Garage at 10 Thompson’s Alley
